The Matthews Rotary Club, in conjunction with Bicycles East of Matthews, is announcing a cool weather ride scheduled to coincide with the Rotary Club's Veteran's Day Celebration Chili Cook Off and Bluegrass Festival on Saturday, November 8th. The fully supported ride will offer a 30/60 mile option and will start/finish at the Stumptown Park on S. Trade Street in Historic downtown Matthews. The routes will include the rolling hills of Mecklenburg, Union, Cabarrus and Stanly Counties. At the finish there will be food, live music and a festival atmosphere. This ride is a fund raiser for the NC Veterans Children?s Charity.
