Tuesday Night Ride

 

6:00 START FROM THE BIKE SHOP

 

 

 

Leaves: 6:00 p.m.
Description:

We'll ride the Mint Hill loop with rolling hills. This ride leaves from the bike shop parking lot in downtown Matthews.

'A' Group Average will travel 29-34 miles and the speed will be around 20-mph. FAST AND FUN RIDE! Giddy Up!

'B' Group will ride a marked course ~ 24 miles - Avg 18-19 mph
Start: Bicycles East of Matthews 195 N. Trade Street
Points Awarded 4 KOM lines for points awarded each ride with an overall points leader
Leader: Team
Notes: No ride if it's raining at the start

Tuesday night we ride for points on each of the 4 designated climbs.

 

Point System

2 pts for coming in second on any KOM
3 pts for winning any KOM

Most wins by the end of the season wins!

All Riders Should:

  1. Wear an approved helmet
  2. Bring water and nutrition for the complete ride as rest stops are limited
  3. Be prepared for the forecasted weather.
